Loveless And Lonely
--
Why must we be so complicated? In a perfect world, you’d always be right by my side. Now I lay in bed tossing and turning, missing you, craving your cuddles. Your laugh and smile. The way your eyes shine when we exchange I love you’s. But life isn’t a fairytale, and love is a cruel, cold, and addictive game. One that I fall victim to time and time again. Trying and failing, never finding love, just a trail of heartbreak, disappointment, lust, and meaningless sex. Anything to replace the emptiness inside me, something to numb this unbearable pain. The eternal loneliness that I wish to escape.
